“Looks pretty lively down there huh?" the Doctor asked you were sitting on a small hill next to the house your "parent's lived at the large elegant house was lit up like a Christmas tree; music blared through the open windows.

“I can’t believe I forgot! Today's my mom's birthday! She’s probably down there partying."

"You wanna go check it out?"

"Are you Shure? What if I take a fancy to them? Might not see you again!"

"Like that would really happen? You’re my "Marty Mcfly" F/N you are the Marty Mcfly to my Doc Brown, besides something seems odd and I wanna check it out."

"And there is one guaranteed way of getting inside." he said pulling out his wallet containing a piece of Psychic paper.

The Doctor got you in all right, you were dressed as a waitress and he was dressed like a waiter, you both carried a tray of alcoholic drinks, the house was crowded with people all of which were wearing pod like devices on both of their ears, and fancy things none of this would have been possible with the job's your parents had back home.

"You know we could have been anyone!" you whispered still a little ticked off

"got us in didn’t it?"

"Still...we could have been guests, Sir Doctor and Lady F/N, and yet. We end up serving! Never wanted a food job, not even now."

"we can cover more ground this way, well attract too much attention if were guests."
"Good point."

"Attention! Attention!, I just wanted to thank you all for coming to my Wife's birthday, and so without further ado here she is." your "Father"  said as your "Mother" walked down the staircase wearing an elegant dress, she was followed by a  (size) (breed of Dog) wearing a pink collar.

"Hello, nice to see you all here tonight, is Shure to have fun! Oh, and I'd like to introduce our newest member of the family she said gesturing to the Dog, “This is F/N, say hello F/N!"

The dog gave a little bark and then walked off.

"so that's "Me" in this world I'm a dog!" you thought it was all soo idiotic, like some sort of stupid  dream, but it still made you kind of upset though.

The Doctor took one look at the canine and then at you, he then started to chuckle
you gave him a stern look.

"Sorry." he then walked off.

You watched your mother" talking to a guest, she seemed so happy and care free, you noticed your "father looking at her, you gave him a polite tap on the shoulder causing him to turn around.

"I'm sorry sir, would you like some champagne?" you asked
"Might as well." he said picking up a glass off your tray and took a sip of the amber liquid.

"I am paying you it" he said smiling.

"It's a great party!" you said enthusiastically

"Really you think so?"

"Of cores."

"Thanks’, I thought I went all out, but if she's happy I'm happy you know?"

"How long have you been married.”?


"20 wonderful years."

"No kid's yet I take It." you said glaring at the dog that shared your name.

"were planning on adopting a little girl from china, but there's soo much paperwork to go
through, we’re hoping to get her by Christmas next year."

"That'll be nice."

"Wait a minute, why am I telling you all this? We’ve never met before have we?" he asked walking off "Yep that's right Dad even in a parallel world your still sort of jerky." you thought.

You saw your mother step out on to the patio looking a bit gloomy, you followed her.

"Mrs. L/N is there anything I can get you?" you asked,
"I saw you talking to my husband, him smiling and telling
you about our lives, who do you think you are?" she said as she walked off.

" I guess even in a parallel world nobody’s perfect." you thought as a small tear fell from the corner of your eye, you then heard the stomping of feet, you looked past the hill where you and the Doctor sat and saw them thousands of  shiny metal men advancing towards the elegant house. You ran back inside and looked for the Doctor only to find out he was also looking for you, you then got by a window and looked out, the metal men were only minutes away
"It's happening again, F/N." he said a look of worry appeared on his face
"What do you mean?" you asked.

"I've seen them before."

"What are they?" you asked holding tightly on to his arm.

"Cybermen."
